Follow the artwork, screen, print and sample decisions behind a spot-colour cup project.

Prepare vector artwork, separate the design into spot colours and agree the print size and colour reference.

Prepare a screen for each colour. Support the cup with a suitable fixture and align the stencil to the agreed print area.

A squeegee pushes ink through the open stencil onto the supported cup. Additional colours require separate registered passes.

Use the curing conditions specified for the selected ink and substrate. Review registration, edges, appearance and adhesion against the agreed sample criteria.

Solid spot-colour logos, lettering and clear shapes are a useful starting point. Fine detail, minimum line width and registration must be reviewed at the actual print size.
Photographic and continuous-tone artwork requires a separate process review. Compare UV printing or heat transfer when the brief needs detailed multicolour imagery.
Each colour normally requires its own screen and registration. The practical colour count depends on the selected cup, artwork, ink and production setup; confirm it in the quotation.
Agree the substrate, ink system, curing conditions, care instructions and any required tests. Approve an actual sample rather than assuming a wash-cycle rating.
Send the model or reference image, vector artwork, colour reference, print location, quantity, packaging, destination and required arrival date. Request screen and setup charges as separate quote items.
ARTWORK & PROJECT BRIEF
Share the cup model, vector artwork, colour reference, quantity and destination so the quotation can define the print and setup scope.
