THREE ROUTES · CHOOSE BY WHAT YOU CHANGE

Not every project needs a new mold.

Most briefs start from a model that is already in production. Change the decoration only and no new mold is needed; change the shape and it has to be assessed. Pick the route by what you want to change, not by what the project is called. Each route carries its own minimum order; it is printed on the card.

01 / RESTYLE AN EXISTING MODEL

BEST FOR: A LAUNCH DATE ALREADY SET

Change the look. Keep the mold.

Start from a model that is already in production. Change the colour, logo, decoration and packing, and keep the structure that has already been proven in use.

  • What changes: colour, logo, decoration, packing
  • What stays: the existing body, lid and tooling
  • Sample approval before production

Minimum order

10 pcsplain or printed, one colour or many

No tooling. Screens, a full wrap and any colour match are charged as setup, not as a minimum order. Existing model only — ask us to check the configuration you want.

03 / DEVELOP A NEW PRODUCT

BEST FOR: A STRUCTURE THAT DOES NOT EXIST YET

Build the product your category is missing.

Bring a drawing, a reference sample or a described function. Feasibility, material, wall sections, assembly and tooling are reviewed before any mold is cut.

  • What changes: body, lid, drinking system, assembly
  • Drawing or sample feasibility review
  • Approved specification before tooling

Minimum order

3,000 pcsper new moulded product, 1–4 mould sets

Tooling is charged separately from the unit price. Silicone and plastic only.

BEFORE THE NUMBER

What decides the price and the schedule.

Two enquiries that look the same can come back with different numbers. These four points are usually what moves them.

  • 01 · ToolingA new mold for a body, lid or component is a one-off cost with its own schedule. Reusing an existing mold takes it out of the quotation entirely.
  • 02 · Part count and fitMore parts mean more assembly, more fit checks and more ways for a first sample to come back wrong.
  • 03 · Decoration and finishNumber of print positions, colour count, coverage, laser area, coating and multi-side artwork each add setup and inspection steps.
  • 04 · Sampling rounds and approvalsEvery extra revision round adds time. Approving artwork, colour and sample version together is the fastest route.

TYPICAL SCHEDULE

1–2 daysExisting sample
5–7 daysCustomised sample
30–40 daysNew tooling, drawing to first sample
25–30 daysMass production, standard run
Sampling
A logo-only sample usually ships the day after artwork is confirmed. A fully customised sample — colour matching, a new structure or a multi-part set — takes 5–7 days.
New tooling
30–40 days end to end. Machining one version of the mold is about 3–4 weeks of that — the rest is scheduling, trial shots and your approval on the first sample.
Production
25–30 days for a standard run. Custom work runs longer: colour matching, special inks, multi-part sets and a first batch off a brand-new mold all add time on top. Inside a standard run the moulding stage is 5–10 days for Tritan and silicone cups, around 20 days for the LED range.

The figures for your project are written into the quotation, including the date the schedule starts and what would change it.

A REAL PROJECT · YACHT EVENT, CALIFORNIA

One brief. A reviewed sample. Cups at the event.

The first request was a logo on a plastic cup. Artwork and sample reviews led to a 16 oz cold colour-changing silicone cup. These three scenes follow that same project from the initial idea to sample approval and event use.

3Physical sample rounds
3Details agreed on the sample
20 daysThis project: expedited door to door

01 / THE INITIAL IDEA

Start with the logo and the cup.

The event date was fixed; the cup and production artwork were still open. The starting discussion was how to place the logo on a plastic cup.

02 / THE SAMPLE DECISION

A silicone sample replaces the plastic-cup idea.

Six revisions and three sample rounds led to a 16 oz cold colour-changing silicone cup. Three detail changes were agreed using the physical sample.

03 / READY FOR THE EVENT

The same custom cup, now on the yacht.

The approved sample guided a 150-piece trial order, packing and expedited delivery to California. This project took twenty days from approval to the client’s hands.

BEFORE YOU REQUEST A QUOTE

Start with what you know.

Can I start with 10 pieces?

Small-batch customization starts from 10 pieces on eligible configurations. Share the model, number of designs and packaging requirements; custom tooling and special specifications are reviewed separately.

Does one-day sampling apply to a new mold?

Sampling can be as fast as one day for eligible projects. New molds, new structures and complex decoration require a separate assessment. Confirm sample type, artwork approval and timing in the quote.

What does 7–10 day door-to-door delivery include?

The 7–10 days is transit only, counted from the day your goods are packed and handed to the carrier. Production is not included: a standard run takes 25–30 days ex-works, and new tooling takes 30–40 days end to end. Plan production and shipping as two separate blocks when you set a launch date.

Can I enquire without a model or drawing?

Yes. Describe the intended use, approximate quantity and required arrival date. You can add a reference image or artwork on the existing enquiry form.

BEFORE YOU ASK FOR A PRICE

Eight details that make the first quote usable.

You do not need all of them to send an enquiry. Missing items come back as open questions instead of being guessed.

  • Product or modelA model code, a photo, or a short description of what it holds.
  • QuantityTotal pieces, and how many designs or colours sit inside that total.
  • ArtworkLogo file, how many positions it prints on, and the colours available.
  • Use and materialHot or cold, indoor or outdoor, one event or a reusable range.
  • CapacityThe volume you need, and whether it can move.
  • PackingPoly bag, gift box, insert card or carton marks.
  • DestinationCountry and postcode, so freight is quoted with the goods.
  • Arrival dateThe date the goods must be in hand, not the date you place the order.

Send what you have. The rest is listed as open points in the reply.  Send these in the project enquiry →
